The I in STOIC framework stands for intimacy.

No. Not that kind of intimacy.

The kind of intimacy where you know your customers well. Now, while you’re not desperate due to a recession, is the time to get to know your customer very well. Know their pain points. Know what solutions they seek. Both of these things will have changed due to the increased economic pressure.  Keep close track of what their finances can handle in terms of purchasing your goods and services.

Now is the time to make sure you really understand your customers. Later, when things tighten up is not the time to decide that you need to know your customers better.

How confident are you that you know your customers well?  How confident you know what has changed in their world?
